Year 3 - Elmer Day
Back to Latest News
Today we celebrated Elmer Day! Elmer Day is a chance to celebrate the importance of friendship, kindness and inclusivity.
As part of the celebrations we performed a song that we have been learning with Miss Lawrence for a music video. The whole school performed together and we were filmed by a drone which was really exciting! Then we had the opportunity to perform as a year group. We are really looking forward to seeing the final video!
When we got back to class we shared the things that make each of us unique, and told our friends what we thought was special about them too! It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate what makes each of us different. Children were proud to talk about their heritage, the language the speak at home, their physical differences and the things that they enjoy, are passionate about or have talents for. We have so many musicians, dancers, gymnasts, polyglots, and sports stars!
