Science

Our aim is that children learn through exploration, discovery and observation from Reception to Year 6.

National Science Week is celebrated every year with a range lessons and activities across the school, often with visitors and other exciting opportunities.

All of our pupils are able to participate in Forest school activities in order to engage with the natural world, inform their understanding and develop a respect and appreciation for their environment.

Through the use of our outdoor environment, pupils are able to explore and embed their learning through practical activities such as growing vegetables, visits to the wildlife pond, maintaining the Orchard and a dedicated Science Area.
