Year 1 World Book Day

Year 1 have had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day. The children looked fantastic, with so much effort and creativity in each of their wonderful costumes. They loved sharing who they had dressed up as and why they chose this character. We were lucky enough to begin the day with an assembly from a special visitor. The children had so much fun joining in with the immersive storytelling experience and lots of laughter. Back in class, the children were eager to find a cosy space to enjoy their stories both inside and outside the classroom. We also had a visit from the Year 4 children, who kindly read their stories to us and listened to Year 1 children read to them.
