Dormouse & Hedgehog Class World Book Day

Happy World Book Day! It was so lovely to see so many fantastic costumes today!

We started our day with an assembly which included a brilliant performance of a traditional Anansi story. The children were so excited to join in, and clapped and cheered along with parts of the story. We then had a very special visit from the oldest children in the school, who kindly came to read the Reception children a story. During Free Learning, the children enjoyed reading a wide variety of books, making bookmarks and getting into character! They also took part in the 'Catch Me Reading' competition, with the winners being announced soon.
