It was Outdoor Classroom Day this week and we decided to take part in some artwork in our Science garden. Linking our printing skills from art with our love of Forest School – collecting a range of natural resources and using these with paint to create textured pictures of a range woodland animals. We found that by not layering too much paint on the resources, this created the best print and the best items to print with were feathers and leaves.

We also had some visitors in Year 4 this week, talking to us about healthy eating and how much sugar is in our food. Did you know that some rich tea biscuits have 5 sugar cubes in 100g of them?
