Year 3 - Nick Butterworth Author visit

This week we were incredibly lucky to have had a visit from a very well known author Nick Butterworth. He engaed the children with how he became an author and why writing and reading allows us to step into another world and look at situations in other people's shoes. 

He also showed us how he illustrates some of his books and allowed us to join in too!

Ask you child to tell you what they remember from the day and if you go to the library, be sure to borrow a book by Nick Butterworth. The Whisperer would be a particular favourite.
