Dormouse & Hedgehog Class - Outdoor Classroom Day & Diwali Celebrations

The children had a brilliant time celebrating Diwali this week! Mrs Drayan taught the children all about the celebrations and taught them how to do a Bollywood Dance. We made Diva Lamps in the DT Room and learned all about the story of Diwali from our Year 6 children. They helped us throughout the morning in all areas and the Reception children loved getting to know them.

We continued our fun by decorating the bike track in Rangoli patterns and beautiful pictures and continued to practice the dances learned.

Everyone is looking forward to the Firework Event on Friday night – especially after helping to organise the stalls for both classes. We look forward to seeing you there!

Have a lovely weekend.
