Seal Class - Chess

Year 3 have been enjoying their weekly chess lessons. This week we learnt all about the bishop chess piece, particularly how this piece can travel on the board. We looked at how this piece moves diagonally before having a mini-game, exploring this in a competitive situation.

The children have shown sportsmanship and focus during these lessons, and are looking forward to learning about more pieces in the coming weeks.
