Year 1 Observational Walk

This morning, Year 1 went on an observational walk of their local area, as part of their Geography learning to observe and compare different human and physical features. The children enjoyed following the route along the map, identifying different roads and buildings on the way, and were able to confidently describe human and physical features they could see around them. Ask your child if they can define human and physical features, and give examples for each.
