Year 2 - Mary’s Big Breakfast

Year 2 children have been busy in the kitchen, showing off a wide range of skills as they prepared for Mary’s Big Breakfast. This is a special fundraiser in memory of our Chair of Governors, Mary Ireland, who sadly passed away in January 2023. The event was held to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The children worked together to create a delicious spread for parents to enjoy. From measuring and mixing to decorating, they took on every step of the cooking process with confidence. On the menu were three tasty treats: crispy rice cakes, classic flapjack, and lemon cake.
