Year 2 - Flat Stan

Year 2 has taken part on Flat Stan First Aid Training. It focuses on teaching basic first aid skills in a fun and interactive way, empowering children with essential life skills.   

Some of the things that children learnt and practised include what to do if someone is not breathing, what to do if someone is chocking, what to do in case of nose bleeds and what do to if you get burn. 

It was an enjoyable experience for children where they practised CPR on Flat Stan and practised using a bandage in case someone is bleeding. They also learnt the emergency numbers. 

‘If you have a burn put it under cold water’ 

‘If someone is not breathing you can do CPR’ 

‘You have to put your head down and hold your nose for 20 minutes until it stops bleeding’
