Sharing Easter Traditions Across Borders!
Back to Latest News
This term, our school took part in a very special and exciting cultural exchange with Colegio Nuestra Señora de los Dolores in Spain, all centred around Easter traditions. It was a fantastic opportunity for our children to learn about how this important time of year is celebrated in another country—and to share our own customs too!
Our pupils worked hard to create a Chatta explaining the many Easter traditions we enjoy here in England. From the excitement of the Easter egg hunt, to the delicious hot cross buns.
The children at Colegio Nuestra Señora de los Dolores also created their very first Chatta—and it was all about Spanish Easter traditions! We learned about community processions and even traditional Easter races. It was so exciting to discover the similarities and differences between our two countries’ celebrations.
This exchange was not only a fun way to learn more about Easter, but also a brilliant way to connect with children in another part of the world. We were all so proud to take part in this shared learning experience and can’t wait to continue building these international friendships.
Sharing traditions brings us all a little closer together.
