Year 1 Flower Detectives

Year 1 had a lovely time outdoors this afternoon, acting as 'flower detectives' on their hunt to identify and name flowers on our school grounds. We discussed what a plant needs to grow, why we are beginning to see more flowers at this time of year, and soon will begin learning the names of the different parts of a plant to help us label a flower.
