Olympian, Danusia Francis visits Drapers' Maylands

On Tuesday 28th January, we were fortunate enough to be visited by world athlete and Olympian, Danusia Francis. She spoke to the children about her athletic career and how she overcame challenges and all her successful accomplishments. The learners then participated in a workshop where Danusia taught them some gymnastic tricks and tumbles. They learnt proper safety when attempting difficult moves and the correct way to do a cartwheel. Our Cool Milk Competition winner was able to meet Danusia and received an autograph and photo.
