Year 2 - Creative and Festive

This week, Year 2 have been busy spreading Christmas cheer through their exciting activities in Design Technology and Food Technology.

In DT, the children crafted Christmas cards using sliders and levers, learning to measure carefully and create their designs. These special cards are sure to bring a smile to their families as they greet the festive season!

Meanwhile, in Food Technology, children enjoyed making reindeer biscuits. They practiced important skills like measuring with spoons, mixing, and shaping their creations. The finishing touches included pretzels for antlers and a raspberry for the nose—making their biscuits as cute as they were delicious!

They loved every moment of cooking and, of course, tasting their festive treats. Well done, Year 2!
