What a busy week!
On Wednesday, Reception had an absolutely amazing time at the Queen's Theatre seeing the Cinderella Pantomime! The interactive show was enjoyed by all, and the children were such Marvellous Maylanders!
The children also had a wonderful time baking Christmas Cupcakes and decorating them the next day, to look like melted snowmen. They were able to follow 1 and 2 step instructions and carefully pour and mix the ingredients together. The cupcakes looked absolutely wonderful!
Reception were also luck enough to take part in The National Gallery online workshop which was called 'Storytelling: Animals galore'. They listened so carefully and their participation was fantastic.
We also had a visit from two very cheeky elves: Elvis and Elphaba. They have been sent by Santa Claus to observe the children's wonderful behaviours for learning, so they can learn to become good role models too! We can't wait to see what mischief they get up to!
