Dormouse & Hedgehog Class - Diwali Celebrations

We had an amazing day learning all about Diwali! Mrs Drayan taught us all about what Hindus do to celebrate, and shared some stories and photos of how she celebrates with her family. We also got to take part in a fantastic Diwali Dance Workshop where we learnt a variety of dance moves including: the lotus flower, the peak of the mountain, and the peacock. During Free Learning, we made our own diya lamps and rangoli patterns, and we also got to enjoy a special Diwali lucnh. It was such a wonderful day!
