Year 2 - World Music Day

During World Music Day, Year 2 enjoyed listening to a live band. They were very impressed with the skilled pupils that came to show us their talent and thoroughly enjoyed singing and clapping along. Children that normally attend iRock had the chance to impress everyone else in the room by having a go at the instrument they normally play.

Mrs Burton, surprised us by visiting our class and showing us her talents with the ukulele. We sang some songs along and enjoyed learning how this instrument is played.

We enjoyed a Music Express lesson, using a range of instruments including, claves, maracas and African drums to explore rhythm and we worked collaboratively to create a song and make music!
