Gardening Spring

Imbolc is celebrated on February 1st and marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox and is a time of renewal and new beginnings and getting the ground ready for new growth so that is exactly what we have been doing in gardening! Preparing the beds ready for planting new things. The children have said they would like to grow tomatoes, carrots and potatoes and later on, strawberries..... We are also trying to reshape the willow domes.
