Year 2 - Harold Hill Library

Year 2 has welcomed in the new term with some exciting learning. Not only we have enjoyed learning the location of the Pacific Ocean on a map, but we have also put on our pretending wet suit and scuba diving gear to dive and find out what lives in the biggest ocean on Earth. We found many different animals such as dugongs, sea slugs and blue ring octopi. 

We have been so lucky to take a trip to the Harold Hill Library, where we enjoyed discovering this amazing library and its collection of books. We shared stories with our friends, and we borrowed a book to take home.  We really impressed our teachers and the librarians with our silent reading and our manners! 

We had an amazing time at Forest School. We took part in a Forest School challenge session where we got to balance and crawl on trees, jump over muddy ditches and walk on frozen puddles. It was challenging at times but we had the best time with our friends! 

Thank you to all those parents that have joined their children on the visit to the school library and have shared a story. The children were so excited to see you there and had a brilliant time!
