On Wednesday we went to Chelmsford Museum to continue learning about the Stone Age.
We were able to take part in some workshops and use similar tools to those they used in the Stone Age. For instance, a bow and drill, weaving and also a mill, to mill the wheat into flour.
In another workshop we were able to take a closer look and handle some artefacts. We discussed how and what they were made from and how they may have been used.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the park, followed by a couple of hours to go round the museum on a history hunt.
Ask your child what they learnt on the day and what was their favourite part.
