Year 1 Oak Centre

We have had a wonderful first week in Year 1. The children have loved exploring the new areas of learning, both inside and outside the classroom.

We were very lucky to be invited to Drapers' Academy Oak Centre to visit the animals that live there before we begin our Science Animals learning. We saw ducks, chickens, guinea-pigs and rabbits, and spoke about their different characteristics, what they eat, and where they live. The children learned how to look after the animals and handle them carefully.
