This week, Year 1 were lucky enough to be invited to an art exhibition at Drapers' Academy. The children were so impressed by the creativity and diversity of the work displayed. When we returned to the classroom, some children independently recreated pieces of work they had seen at the Art exhibition using hexi-flex.

The children also had a visit from professional basketball player, Pierre Henry-Fontaine. They loved listening to his stories about how he got into the sport, and how he trains and eats the correct nutrition to keep fit. Rabbit Class and Squirrel Class then had the chance to complete their own circuit training with the athlete, with jumping jacks, push ups and more!
