Year 3 - Anglo-Saxons day

On Monday as part of our new topic learning about the Anglo-Saxons we had the opportunity to take on the role of Angles, Jutes and Saxons.

We researched these groups to find out where they originated from and why then ended in in Britannia.

Knowing more information, we set out making shields ready for battle and settle in Britannia.

During the afternoon, one of the classrooms was turned into an Anglo-Saxon museum and we were able to look at artefacts, maps, tools and jewellery originating from that time.
