Year 5 - Mary's Big Breakfast

Thank you to everybody who joined us for Mary's Big Breakfast last week. Year 5 enjoyed serving a breakfast to raise money for Cancer Research in honour of our previous Head of Governors, Mary Ireland. 

Firstly, Year 5 wrote an invitation to let their parents/carers know about the fundraiser that was taking place. They then worked in groups to make an array of breakfast foods, including muffins, banana bread and flapjacks. During the Food Technology session, all children used fantastic team work skills to work together to make the dishes. Lastly, at the Big Breakfast, Year 5 acted as wonderful servers to their parents/carers, serving the breakfast foods alongside a hot drink. 

Well done to Year 5 for helping to raise an incredible amount of money for a good cause.
