Round house

 During our learning about the Stone Age, we made some round houses. We tried to make them very similar to how they were made in the past, by weaving willow in and out of posts and using clay as daub. 

It was team work as we worked our way up to the roof and used straw, similar to a thatched roof. This task enabled us to understand how difficult it was to build houses without machinery and how cold and dark it would have been without electricity.
