In Science, as part of our Humans learning journey, Year 1 explored a series of senses stations in the classroom to discover the parts of the body associated with each sense. Children then went to the Science Garden to listen to the different sounds outside. They enjoyed using their senses to smell, taste, touch, see and hear all of the different objects in their surroundings, and used a table to record their findings.
"This smells like mango"
"This tastes sweet"
"It feels bumpy and rough"
"I can hear a noisy car engine"
Rabbit Class had a fantastic afternoon at Forest School, observing the seasonal changes in nature and developing their teamwork skills.
