What a creative week we have had in Reception!

We have been creating beautiful poppy paintings in honour of Remembrance Day, and enjoyed exploring some new resources in the Playdough and Water Area. We also have a new Workshop Area where we can let our creative juices flow!  

Autumn Term Art Focus: We have been learning all about the talents of the sculpture Constantin Brancusi, who created ‘Endless Columns’. Dormouse and Hedgehog Class had a go at creating their own ‘Endless Columns’ using various different resources in the DT Room and Early Years Garden.

Our rabbits are getting bigger and faster, loving nothing more than running around in-between the children. They enjoy being petted and held for a cuddle, especially if there’s a juicy carrot in sight!
