Year 3 - Otter Class Favourite Books

As part of our reading festival, we have voted for our three favourite books in Otter Class.
Our first choice was Amelia Earhart by Maria Isabel Vegars. The children chose this book because Amelia Earhart was a brave and inspirational person. She pursued her dream of becoming a pilot and set several records. In 1937, she attempted to fly all the way around the world.
Our second choice was Little Mouse's Big Book of Beasts by Emily Gravett. We chose this book because it has fascinating information about several 'beasts' including crocodiles, sharks and snakes. It also has wonderful illustrations and flaps and pullouts that make it a very appealing read as there is always something else to look at.
Our final choice was Dogman by Dav Pilkey. The children chose this book because they enjoy humorous stories and the main character in this book is a funny, mischievous character who gets up to lots of things.
