Year 2 - World Book Day Anansi Storyteller

On World Book Day this year we welcomed a storyteller to brought the story of Anansi alive. We joined in with acting, freeze frames and character descriptions. 

We continued with this learning the following week where we retold the story of Anansi using chatta which then enable us to write the story. 

Ask us if we can retell the Anansi story. Why did Anansi climb to the Gods? What animals did Nyam ask for? What was in the wooden box?
