Year 4 - The Science of Sound - November 2021

In Year 4, we have explored the theme of sound. First, we identified how sound travels to our ears, how they are made, and identified and found how the vibrations and strengths changed the pitch or volume. We played instruments, recorded, and tested the sounds made too.  

The class enjoyed the experience of learning that sound is air moving and those sounds are created by something being hit or by moving along the string, as seen in the cup telephones.
