Year 2 - The Big Bird Watch 2026

Year 2 took part in the Big Bird Watch 2026 and had a wonderful time becoming bird spotters in our Science Garden! The children carefully watched and recorded how many different bird species they could see. We spotted a variety of birds including: wood pigeon, blackbird, magpie, robin, black-headed gull and more.

The children worked brilliantly together, showing great observation skills and enthusiasm throughout the activity. We are very proud to say that Year 2 received a class certificate from the RSPB for taking part in this important nationwide event. Well done Year 2, fantastic bird watching!
