Thank you parents/carers who attended the Year 6 Thanksgiving Afternoon Tea. The children enjoyed welcoming you to school and serving you their delicious pumpkin pies!

In class, Year 6 have been learning about the continent of North America, with a particular focus on Native Americans. As part of their learning, they learnt about the story of the first Thanksgiving and how the celebration has evolved to what it is today.

The children made their traditional pumpkin pies in preparation for the Thanksgiving Afternoon Tea. This involved careful measuring and safe, hygienic use of equipment.
