Year 6 - Junior Citizenship Trip

Year 6 have spent the morning learning how to travel safely on public transport, awareness of drugs and knife crime and what to do in different emergency situations. They travelled to the Territorial Army Base on London Road and were led by professionals from the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade, Safer Transport Police, Road Safety and Wize Up. The workshop allowed the children to experience real-life situations and they were able to understand the challenges in these situations. 

Each group participated well within each activity by asking interesting questions and were able to demonstrate good knowledge and understanding about the different real-life scenarios.
