Year 5 - Academy Art Project

We are really proud to have been invited over to Drapers' Academy to take part in an Art project being run by Mrs Parry-Smith, the head of the Art Department. 

Over the next few weeks, a group of identified creative students will be attending the Academy to receive an Art lesson each week, and work towards a collaborative piece to be displayed at the upcoming Art Exhibition. 

This week the children enjoyed experimenting with oil pastels, watercolour paints and different types of paper. They focused on form and colour, using a range of natural materials as inspiration.
