Year 2 - Outdoor Classroom Day

Year 2 had a great day learning outdoors!

They spent the afternoon at Forest School, where the great outdoors became their classroom. They played Forest School games and enjoyed exploring. 

Children enjoyed a storytime session under the open sky, the story felt even more magical than usual having birds singing in the background.

The children also took on an exciting outdoor jigsaw challenge that got all their senses working! They became spring spotters and they used their eyes, ears and noses to spot signs of spring around them. From the scent of blooming flowers to the sight of big green leaves.
