Year 3 - Cinema Experience - The River Nile

Today, year 3 started their new theme with a cinema experience.
With admission ticket in one hand and popcorn in the other, pupils settled down to watch the main feature about The River Nile.
The pupils are now keen and eager to learn more about the mighty River Nile, already equipped with plenty of fascinating knowledge.
The Nile is the longest river in the world, stretching for approximately 6,650 kilometres from its source in the highlands of Burundi to its delta in Egypt, emptying into the Mediterranean Sea. The Nile passes through 11 countries and is a major source of water and food for millions of people living along its banks. It is estimated that more than 160 million people rely on the Nile for their daily needs
