Year 6 - Presenting their Science Week CHATTAs

Today, Year 6 presented their Scientist CHATTAs to Key Stage 2 during assembly.

Last week during Science Week, each group were given a different scientist to research and then they had to produce a CHATTA on them. The children spent time researching the scientist's childhood, career and achievements.

This morning, each group went to a different class in Key Stage 2 and presented their CHATTA on their chosen scientist. The scientists for each year group were:

Otter: Neil Armstrong

Seal: Yuri Gagarin

Lizard: Wang Zhenyi

Adder: Valentina Tereshkova

Kingfisher: Katherine Johnson

Heron: Ed Dwight

Year 6 spoke fluently, confidently and with great knowledge. It was clear each child really understood their part of the CHATTA and they were also able to answer questions in detail at the end.
