Year 1 Costa Rica

Today, we began our new learning all about Costa Rica and went on an exciting adventure to experience the country. First, we collected our boarding passes and made our way to the airport to board the plane. Our passports were stamped and we were ready for take off! We looked out of the windows as the plane flew over the North Atlantic Ocean. Finally, we arrived in Costa Rica, eager to explore different areas and tables in the classroom to find out more about the country. We coloured in the Costa Rican flag, practised saying Spanish phrases, located Costa Rica on a globe and atlas, used QR codes to find interesting facts on Kiddle, and used the Small World to learn about Costa Rican rainforests and animals in the country. Ask your child to tell you what they enjoyed most about their Costa Rica WOW experience and any new facts they can share.
