This week, Year 2 students ventured outdoors to discover the fascinating world of microhabitats! Wrapping up warmly, they set out on an exciting exploration to uncover the hidden homes of minibeasts.

The children searched under logs, stones, and around the pond, carefully observing and learning about the tiny creatures that live there. They were thrilled to find a variety of minibeasts, from wriggling worms to scurrying beetles, and even some pond life!

This hands-on experience brought their science lessons to life, helping them understand how different creatures live in their unique environments. Well done, Year 2, for being such curious and careful explorers!
