Year 1 Exotic Explorers

Year 1 had a fantastic start to the term with a visit from Exotic Explorers and their amazing variety of animals. In Science, we have been learning all about different animal classification groups and their physical characteristics, and children were very excited to see these animals and features up close. We loved finding out interesting facts about each animal, including where they come from, what they eat, and how to care for them. We even got to hold and stroke them, and watch them eat! Ask your child what their favourite animal was from the experience and why? Can they share any interesting facts they learned?
