Year 3 - Mini Marathon

This week we were very thankful for glorious weather as we took part in the Mini Marathon, raising money for WWF. The children enjoyed 20 minutes of running, some of them even managing more than ten laps of the field! 

In Maths this week we have been doing problem solving with money - using different coins to make different amounts, and using our calculation skills to find the answers to 2 step problems. Ask us to help work out the total cost of some of this week's shopping, or to tell you how much change you will get from the ice cream man. 

Otter Class enjoyed making their own stamps from plasticine and everyday objects this week and creating different repeating patterns with paint. 

Seal Class enjoyed taking the gardening tools to Forest School to create their own tributaries leading into the stream.
