A year in the school garden

We have had a busy school year in our garden. Below are the highlights...

Making hanging baskets with Sweet Williams

Harvesting sweetcorn and having it with school dinner

Random few potatoes

Growing pumpkins - making pumpkin pie and guessing the weight (7.7kg)

Planting onions

Daffodils and crocuses

Harvesting onions/spring onions/peas in pods

Over 30kg of potatoes - donated to a homeless charity

The Big Sow - just over £166 raised!

We say goodbye to two of our year 6 gardeners and wish them all the best! And hopefully grow lots more in the next school year........
