Year 3 Camp Out
Back to Latest News
What a fantastic evening we had. The children were so excited to come back to school and enjoy an evening out on the playground, exploring and trying out new skills with their peers.
As the children came in, they were given the tie dye t-shirts they had made and sat down to tuck into their BBQ dinner.
There were a number of different acitivties, from stencilling their name on their tie dye t-shirt to using some forest school skills to drill a hole to make a necklace pendant.
Football and cricket was a favorite amongst some on the field, whilst lots of children enjoyed building the poddley trying to get some water from A to B.
Miss Lawrence was teaching some children a dance routine which we got to watch at the end of the evening. We even had a magician and circus expert showing us some tricks and allowing us to practice some curcus skills such as juggling, plate spinning and Diabolo.
Although the evening was cut short due to the wind and rain, we will all be having a camp fire and a s'mores at our next Forest School session.
Share the pictures with your children and ask them about the evening.
