Year 4 - Master Chef

Pupils from both Adder and Lizard Class took part in the Maylands Master Chef competition. In year 4, we made tasty tortillas. First we made the dough for the tortilla before cooking the rice and black beans. We chopped peppers and onions which we mixed in with the rice and beans. We then added lime juice, chilli powder and cumin. Once everything was cooked, we rolled out our dough, cooked it in the frying pan for one minute before wrapping our tortilla with a sprinkling of parsley. It was delicious.
