Year 5 - NSPCC Mile Day

Year 5 enjoyed taking part in the NSPCC Mile Day today. All pupils took part in a cross country run around The Manor to show their support for the NSPCC. Children in Year 5 were keen to complete the challenge as quickly as possible, whilst also ensuring they were pacing themselves to ensure they were able to complete the mile run. All children were being very encouraging and supportive of their peers to ensure they were able to complete the run, showing kindness and tolerance. 

Children said:

'Running across The Manor is so beautiful!' 

'I wish we could do this every week.'

'I am so proud of myself for completing the challenge'

Well done Year 5 for showing determination with the NSPCC Mile Day.
