Year 5 - Nets of cubes

Today Year 5 learnt about the different nets of cubes. They were able to identify which nets made a cube and which nets did not. As a result, the children were aware of what type of net is needed to make a cube and why.

The children took their learning outside of the classroom and made 3D shapes on the playground as well as spotting 3D shapes outside. 

Well done Year 5 for showing an excellent mathematical understanding.
