Year 5 - World Book Day

Year 5 enjoyed World Book Day on Thursday and dressed up as unique characters from a variety of stories. Some children chose stories they had been reading in class to dress up as whereas others had chosen favourite stories from over the years. 

The children enjoyed reading outside on world book day with their friends. It was lovely to see so many children enjoying their stories or reccomending their books to other children around the school. 

Year 5 also enjoyed a different science lesson where they investigated reversible changes. To do this, they made a range of chocolate shapes by heating the chocolate and putting it into a mould. They loved that they were completing a science investigation in their costumes!
