This week has been an extremely busy week of learning for us. We have been learning about animals from different countries such as Japan. Interesting fact, the joro spider lives in Japan. Once we had learnt a fact about the animals, we used our mapping skills to find the different countires on a map. This is challenging but fun.We then used our new knowldge of countries from around the world to choose a country, such as Greece, from different conintents and research about different about them. Did you know that in ancient Greece the people worship the god Zeus?

We have been experiementing making bridges made out of paper and testing how many grams it can hold. How we did it was that we had to fold the paper so it got stronger or we made it into shapes to make it stronger too. We had three attempts to see which design held the most weight, learning from each attemp. The most a birdge was able to hold was over 270g's!

We have been learning about French greetings thanks to Miss Marchant. We have learnt French greetings such as 'bonjour' which means 'hello'.

Finally we  have been learning about PEGI ratings for games such Roblox, Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto which there PEGI ratings which were 7, 12 and 18. If a PEGI rating is higher than your actual age, you should nto play it because it can have inapparopriate things. For example, the PEGI rating for Fortnite is 12 because it has violence and in-game purchases.
