Fox Class - Favourite Three Books

To begin the Festival of Reading, starting new Monday, Fox class voted on their favourite three books in class. We used cubes to place our vote, waiting with anticipation to see which would be chosen.
The top three books chosen were:
1st - George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl.
2nd - The Great Race: Story of the Chinese Zodiac by Christopher Corr.
3rd - Toto the Ninja Cat and the Great Snake Escape by Dermot O'Leary.
George's Marvellous Medicine was our class reader last term, the children enjoyed finding out what each of George's medicines did to the farm animals and Grandma!
The Great Race was read for Chinese New Year. Fox class enjoyed finding out how each animal made it to the finish line and learning about another culture's celebrations.
Toto and the Ninja Cat was our class reader in Autumn Term. The children admired how adventerous the cat was and that the fact he was blind did not stop him.
Ask your child which book was their favourite and which they voted for!
